I am sad to say goodbye, but I am back in school and I can’t get good grades if I am working on too many things all the time. So I must say goodbye to PDW. I will miss this store!

Ok, I am extending the freaking awesome sale in the store!  I just feel like everyone needs a good deal right now.  I also am trying to clear out my inventory of Maya Road!  This means excellent deals for you!

I don’t have a new kit for this week.  I have a collab I just finished up with Armina!  It will be available exclusively at Gotta Pixel in March!  This is my first ever collab, and Armina makes absolutely gorgeous kits!  I was just flattered to work with her!  So when that goes live I will let you know!

I am hoping to crank out some more kits, more often.  I am still adjusting to life as a student.  And I haven’t quite worked out how to get it all done in the time I have.  But I need to keep at it!

I hope you are all having a fabulous day!  I know it is so easy to get down right now.  The world seems to be so crazy each day.  But take a few minutes to spend with the ones you love.  Snap pictures of the good times.  Scrap some pages that tell your side of the story for the way you feel about things in the world.  I think those memories or insights will be cherished by the ones you love.  Wouldn’t you love to hear from your grandparents how they go through the hard times?  I know I would.  So why not take a minute and record your own feelings for your grandchildren or even your kids.  Maybe they would even be inspiring to you down the road!

Oh my goodness!  This has been the LONGEST month ever.  But I can finally say that the store is back up and running!

I will tell you that I lost the last 4 months’ of databases.  So I am going to be plugging away at getting it back in there.  That means you may not be registered in the store if you had registered in the last 4 months.  It also means that any orders you placed in the last 4 months will not be in there.  And that is not the best news, I know.

So, I wanted to let you know a few things:

First, I am going to go through the receipts one at a time and get the orders back in.  This is obviously going to take a while.  But I want to make sure you have access to your downloads.  And your store bonus points.  So, please be patient with me!  I will be putting them in the order the came through.  So, please also be forewarned that you may receive e-mails that you placed an order- these will not be charged again to your paypal accounts or whatever you used to pay.  It will just mean that I got the order re-keyed! 

Second, because you may need to re-register, I am going to place 50 store bonus points in every account that registers before I get it done manually.  So if you get yourself re-registered before I do then you get 5 points as my way of saying thanks for saving me the time!

And finally, but the best part- I have knocked all digital products down to $1!  I will keep them this price at least this week, maybe longer.  Kind of depends on how long it takes me to get through the receipts and plug it all back in.  And all of the physical products are on sale at barely more than my cost.  I would love to just move them out!  So if you wanted any of the products now will be the absolute best pricing you will get!

You may have notice my store is having issues.  Like an aneurysm or something. LOL!  I am still working with the hosting comany.  Something has happened on their end to my databases.  My database “disappeared” and I can’t even update it, restore it or make a new one.  And you’d think they’d realize this after a week of e-mailing back and forth.  But they spent the frst 5 days telling me it was not their problem.  I love that.  So, now that I can say yes, it is your problem since the entire database area is a mess,  I am hoping they act a little more quickly in resolving the issue.

So, I wanted to just let you know that I am not out of biz.  I have no intentions of closing.  And I WILL have that sale for you once the store is back up!  You can still shop at Gotta Pixel or Plain Digital Wrapper in the off time.  And maybe I will get some new things created for you while I sit here waiting.  (I am not really just sitting here, I am actually crazy busy and poor son has strep and an ear infection.  SO not much sitting is actually happening.)

I can’t believe it’s already Black Friday!  Our weather here feels anything but wintery.  And I find myself having such a hard time recognizing the time of year it is.  But, I can’t argue with the calendar.  hee hee

Wow, I completely missed last week. LOL! I was sick, then I was substitute teaching, then I got sick again. I felt like last week should just have been put on hold.

It was nice to have my husband taking care of me, helping around the house and cooking dinners. But I have such a hard time just laying in bed, or even sitting still, for that matter. I am so glad to be back to normal!

And to celebrate I finished up a new kit! I am not a big fan of winter, and I actually struggled with this one after getting it started. This isn’t about skill, it is more about theme.  Of course you want your photo to look good, but I am not going to be judging quality here.

Challenge Details:

Deadline: Your layout/project must be loaded to the photo challenge gallery before midnight MST on Nov. 15th ! (here is a time converter to help you!)

Prize : One participant will win a $5 gift certificate to my store! (randomly selected, no judging involved) Plus: Each participant will receive 25 store bonus points !

Products : You can use any products you like, but you must use at least one product that is in the DAD store to qualify for the prize!

Photo Theme Details: Your photo must be taken between Oct. 12-Nov 15th.  It needs to show the season (for me it would be Fall/Autumn).  So you may need to go outside, or maybe you have decorations in your home that show the season.  I need to be able to tell from just the photo what season you are in right now!

1. Create a page, card or hybrid project that incorporates the Photo Theme.

2. Upload your page to the Photo Challenge Gallery before the deadline! (Place the photo in your member gallery, and then you can also place it into any kit galleries you used.)

3. The prize will be awarded to someone who has posted in this gallery! If you don’t post you won’t qualify for the prize.

4. I will have select one random participant on Nov. 16th as the winner of a $5 gift certificate to my store! And every participant will receive 25 points in their store account!

Ok, I am ready to start up a color challenge! I love color. L O V E it. LOL! So this is right up my alley. I hope you’ll play along!

Challenge Details:

The October swatch is from my Farmer’s Market kit. I loved playing with these colors. They are great for the end of summer, fall or even Halloween. Maybe you’ll think of more themes, I am sort of in the fall mode at the moment.

I have a new gallery! It is open to the public!

I can’t tell you how excited I am!  I have wanted a gallery, but the free ones just never worked well.  So I saved and waited, and finally grabbed a great one on sale!  Woohoo!  (See, I totally understand the beauty of shopping a sale. hee hee)  So I want to invite you guys to use the gallery!  I don’t mind if other products are in the pages, but I am requiring that it must feature something from my store.  I think that’s pretty fair.   You can definitely credit whatever designers you used, but no linking directly would also be appreciated.

Ok,so I have new releases to announce, Lucky Sun has a new palette just for the winter & Fall holidays, and Hollie has some more great quick pages!  Not to mention awesome pages that are rocking other galleries (and now they can rock mine!) and yes, the freebie I mentioned!  It is a fun filled post today!
